Growing into independence Package

Coaching support for young adults taking their next big step.

Stepping into independence is a significant milestone, and it deserves real support.

The Growing Into Independence coaching package is designed to help young adults develop the practical skills, emotional resilience, and confidence they need to successfully navigate life independently.

Over six weekly sessions, we’ll choose from essential topics such as building strong support networks, budgeting, health management, setting boundaries, and sustaining momentum during significant transitions. Whether preparing for college, launching a career, or moving into a first apartment, this program offers a clear path forward, empowering young adults to move forward with strength and clarity.

Sessions are customized to meet each person where they are — if more attention is needed on a particular topic, we will focus our time there. Participants will learn actionable strategies that will help them feel sturdy, empowered, and prepared to step into any life transition.

Optional package add-ons are available, including:

  • Follow-up Sessions: 1, 2, or 4 sessions per month plus weekly text and email support.

  • Culinary Basics: Learn the basics of healthy eating, cooking on a budget, how to set up a kitchen and basic cooking skills. 3 additional sessions.

  • Practice Weeks: Simulate independent living while still at home, or before a full move.

Today's young adults face challenges their parents never encountered. Despite good intentions, parents and guardians are often left without a roadmap for connecting or communicating with the youth they love.

The Parenting Young Adults Circle provides a supportive space for participants to navigate the complex emotions, uncertainty, and evolving relationships that come with parenting adult children. Through shared stories and learning, participants can discover new ways to support both their adult children and themselves.

In this 8-week Circle, we’ll explore the complex emotions of parenting a young adult. In addition to sharing personal experiences, participants will learn critical tools to use when communicating with their young adults, including boundaries, differentiation, and a path to connection.

Circle faqs

  • The Circle process is a relational practice used to bring a group or community together to explore important life events, to learn, to heal, or to resolve differences.  Using a circle in response to life’s challenges can be a powerful way to promote and support healing.

In simple terms, it is a supportive space where you can share, explore, connect, and learn.

  • An expert moderator called a "Keeper" sets a structure for the group so that insight and collective wisdom can be safely, confidentially, and respectfully shared.

In Circle, everyone has equal voice and speaks in turn, and no one speaks over the others.  The Keeper assists in creating brave space where participants are able to show up honestly and openly without disrespecting others.

  • Our Circles are intimate, typically with no more than 10 people depending on the topic being explored.
